Online Money Making Strategies – Should You Pick the Highest Paying Affiliate Programs?
So on a general level, you’ve decided to use affiliate marketing to make money online. After you’ve done your research, picked a niche and set up your website, you need to decide which affiliate program to promote.
Considering that you’ve literally got millions of products to choose from, it could come down to one single factor: Which are the highest paying affiliate programs? And should you go for these and risk getting less overall sales, or pick lower-paying affiliate programs and see if you get more people to purchase your products?
Now, I’m going to share my personal experience with this, and it may be different for different markets, so ultimately it’s something that you need to track and test for yourself. But I’ve noticed that you’ll sell near as many units at a higher cost per unit. For the passive online income .The cost per unit doesn’t really make that much difference.
So, in other words, let’s say I promote a $100 product that pays 50%, or $50, in commission, every time I make a sale. Over time, I see that 1 out of 100 people that see my page purchase that product. So I’m earning $2 a click.
Now, does the logic that promoting a $20 product will get five times as many people to buy it make sense? In my experience, no. You’ll make more by picking the highest paying affiliate programs. Because you’ll have to sell five times as many of the $20 product to earn as much money. You might sell twice as many, but not five times as many.
So the moral of the story: if you’re looking to make maximum money from your affiliate marketing efforts, pick a high paying program and get the most out of it. And good luck!!
